Josh and I decided to spend another night off trail and ran errands, did laundry and ate. It has been a really relaxing and much needed break. We saw Timone from the AT crew and Uke, whom we met early on in Anza Borrego. It was really nice to catch up with them.
I have been reading too many blogs and psyching myself out about the Sierra. I just need to go and see what it's about for myself. So many people are getting off the trail for injuries or personal issues now it makes me sad for them. I'm content with our progress, we're still just inching along.
Right now, it's 6:45 on day 57. So much for getting an early start. It's hard to leave town! I'm going to go rouse Joshua and get this show on the road.
